Life doesn't always go according to plan.
Every young person faces challenges, setbacks, and moments that test their confidence.
What matters most is how they respond.
Through mentorship, leadership development, athletics, scholarships, and community outreach, we help young people build the resilience, character, and mindset needed to move forward in school, in life and in their communities.
The AUDIBLE Foundation, Inc. was inspired by Shawn Lee Jr.’s personal journey, a story shaped by resilience, perseverance, accountability, and quiet confidence. Shawn may not have been the biggest player on the field, but he became known for how hard he worked, how smart he played, and how he responded to adversity. Through challenges, setbacks, mistakes, and difficult decisions, he learned to take ownership, make adjustments, and keep moving forward with purpose.
As a quarterback in high school, resilience was part of the position. Every game demanded leadership, composure, and the ability to adapt under pressure. Plays broke down. Defenses changed. Mistakes happened. But you could not dwell on the last play or allow one moment to define the game.

That mindset became bigger than football. Shawn embraced the belief in becoming one percent better every day, physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Growth was never about perfection. It was about consistency, humility, accountability, and the willingness to keep improving one day at a time.
For many young people, life feels the same way. Plans change. Obstacles appear. Mistakes are made. Setbacks happen. Sometimes the original play no longer works, and life calls for an audible.
The AUDIBLE Foundation exists to help youth build the resilience, confidence, and support system needed to navigate those moments. Through mentorship, leadership development, athletics, and community engagement, we strive to help young people overcome adversity, grow through challenges, and become the best version of themselves, one day, one decision, and one next play at a time.
